Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

  • 2 Cans Werling & Sons Chicken
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 40oz bottle of BBQ Sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 8-10 fresh garlic cloves
  • 6 servings of Coleslaw
  • 6-8 Kaiser Buns
  • Salt & Pepper to taste









  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons oil and add the sliced onions and 8-10 whole garlic cloves
  4. When the onions start to get tender, add Werling & Sons chicken and the bottle of barbecue sauce.
  5. Place the lid on the pot and put the whole thing in the preheated oven for about ½ hour.
  6. Give it a taste and add salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Allow to cool and serve on toasted Kaiser Rolls and coleslaw.
